About Tonal Vision

Tonal Vision is a video & music production house specializing in video production and motion graphics, original music, and audio recording and mastering.

Tonal Vision LLC is Maryland Limited Liability Company owned by the husband and wife team, Kraig and Jacqueline (Jacquie) Greff. We are located in the Fell's Point Historic District of Baltimore, MD. In 2009, Tonal Vision was officially certified by the City of Baltimore as a Women's Business Enterprise (Certification # 09-005331), recognizing Jacquie's leadership of and investment in the business.

The name "Tonal Vision" is trademarked with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (Serial # 78228765).

A Brief History

Kraig Greff founded the company in Cincinnati, OH in 1990 under the name Tonal Vision Music/Production. A long-time professional musician, he initially focused on original music and audio for advertising, trade shows, and other audio-video productions.

The business moved to Baltimore, MD in late 1993, still focusing on music and audio. We became "Tonal Vision Music/Production LLC" in January, 1998. In the late '90's, encouraged by several producers at Discovery International, Tonal Vision focused almost exclusively on postproduction for film and video, upgrading our equipment and studio, purchasing several large sound effects libraries, and creating an in-house music library. During this period, we contributed music and/or audio services to over 200 Discovery shows.

In early 2002, Jacquie left her long-term position at Procter & Gamble to join Tonal Vision full time. At that point, the company expanded into video and multimedia production and changed its name to Tonal Vision LLC. She went on to earn her MA in Producing Film & Video from American University and aggressively moved Tonal Vision into the video business, which has since become our most popular service area.
